Phone: 07 4124 4599 PRINCIPAL/LICENSEE John Crampton is a third generation Real Estate Agent, with 25 years in the industry, who cut his teeth working in agencies both in Australia and Asia. During the mid 80's to early 90's, John was Sales Manager at Andrew Gibbons Real Estate in Double Bay. At that time, John specialised in waterfronts. Viewed at the time as the "agency to the stars", setting trends that today are common practice within the industry, John was personally involved with many record residential sales. These included "Paradise Sur Mer" both for Sangster and again for Renouf, as well as 2 Wingadell Place, Point Piper for John Spencer of New Zealand. After relocating to Thailand in the early 90's to run several family companies, John established a Real Estate Company. This specialised in acquiring large parcels of land for local housing estates and consulting with developers with regard to sales of both residential and resort developments throughout Thailand. This overseas success contributed to and enhanced his ability to manouvre results in all types of situations as well as across cultures - essential in the project climate. In 1998, John was invited by John McGrath to establish the site acquisition and project management division of McGrath Real Estate. This essentially was the "one stop shop" of project marketing - and included responsibility for staff hiring and development, budgeting, the establishment of investment seminars with the involvement of finance houses to assist with loans, as well as the facilitation of sale of all product. Pursuing a partnering philosophy, John also worked extensively with developers such as Walker Corporation, Australand, Tesrol , and architects such as Richard Huxley, Harry Seidler and Alexander Popov, to ensure the product was a market leader for its time, saleable and above all, profitable. Within 12 months, this division was the market leader and grossed sales of over 100 Million dollars. Some of the major developments included Marina One at Rushcutters Bay for United Well Investments, Northern Lights at Cremorne for The Molyneux Family, The Manhattan at Elizabeth Bay and The Eclipse at Bondi Junction for Multiplex Living. In 2000/ 2001, John Crampton was Agent of the Year for the whole of McGrath Estate Agents. In 2000, John formed his own development company and this has continued on with developments at the Central Coast, the Gold Coast, regional NSW, Toowoomba and most recently Hervey Bay. In 2006, recognising the potential of the Fraser Coast region, John expanded his business with the purchase and remodeling of the Professionals Hervey Bay. The implementation of sophisticated computerised marketing systems, implementation of new styled advertising and the up skilling and expansion of the property management and sales team, saw a 29% growth by August 2007. This process continues with new goals being set and achieved at all times. Throughout the region, John Crampton is widely recognised by his peers and by legions of satisfied clients for his ability to offer the right advice in steering a transaction - typically involving many millions of dollars - through to a successful conclusion. |
